Job Title: SAP SAF-T Expert (3-Month Contract + Extensions, Fully Remote – ad-hoc work possible)

Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SAF-T Expert to support a European client with compliance, data extraction, and reporting requirements related to Standard Audit File for Tax (SAF-T). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing SAF-T solutions across EU jurisdictions, strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM), and the ability to ensure accurate data mapping and successful audit-ready outputs.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration, validation, and delivery of SAF-T files within SAP for relevant EU countries.
  • Analyse tax, finance, and transactional data to ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, and IT teams to resolve data gaps, mapping issues, and reporting challenges.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of SAF-T processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP SAF-T best practices and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in the English language.
  • Proven experience delivering SAP SAF-T implementations in Europe.
  • Strong understanding of SAP FI/CO; experience with SD/MM beneficial.
  • Familiarity with EU tax regulations related to SAF-T.
  • Excellent communication and remote-collaboration skills.
