Senior Front End Engineer

Lead Front-End Developer

We are seeking a Lead Front-End Developer to play a key role on a small, high-impact team working on a new digital platform at the intersection of finance and technology. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of front-end development across web and mobile applications, shaping user experiences that are intuitive, performant, and scalable.

In this role, you will lead front-end architecture and execution, collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, and mentor other engineers while building high-quality, production-ready interfaces.

The Role

As a Lead Front-End Developer, you will:

  • Design, build, and optimize responsive, user-focused interfaces for web and mobile applications using modern front-end technologies

  • Lead and mentor a small team of front-end engineers, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

  • Partner with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to translate business and product requirements into technical solutions

  • Ensure front-end applications meet high standards for performance, scalability, security, and accessibility

  • Drive best practices around code quality, testing, reviews, and front-end architecture

  • Stay current on emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • 7+ years of front-end development experience across web and mobile applications, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth software environments

  • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks, including React and React Native

  • Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience building products in fintech or financial services environments

  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital asset integrations

  • Experience leading front-end development on greenfield or early-stage products
