SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Lead Consultant (m/f/d)

About the Role

Join a leading digital transformation consultancy that helps organizations optimize customer engagement, sales operations, and supply chain processes through enterprise technology solutions. Working with well-known international organizations and market-leading businesses, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes across sales, logistics, and customer experience functions.

This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, helping clients modernize business processes and drive operational excellence through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and take ownership of complex SAP implementation, rollout, and transformation projects for enterprise clients.
  • Manage project teams and ensure successful delivery across all project phases.
  • Support customers in digital transformation initiatives focused on sales, logistics, and customer operations.
  • Advise stakeholders on the selection, design, and implementation of SAP solutions within Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics environments.
  • Facilitate customer workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and cross-functional design discussions.
  • Define and oversee integrated solution architectures spanning sales, logistics, service, and related business processes.
  • Lead complex system configuration activities and coordinate major solution enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful programme outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Several years of hands-on experience delivering SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD) projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP logistics processes and associated solution portfolios.
  • Experience providing solution consulting and translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of both traditional and agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Previous team leadership or mentoring experience would be advantageous.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required by project commitments.
