SAP MDG / MDM Consultant
(S/4HANA Private Cloud) – Danish Speaker

Next Ventures are executing a search for an experienced SAP MDG / MDM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments and fluent Danish language skills. The consultant will support enterprise master data governance initiatives, ensuring high-quality, standardized, and compliant master data processes across business domains.You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP architects, functional consultants, and data governance teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP MDG/MDM solutions.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Design, configure, and support SAP MDG / SAP MDM solutions within S/4HANA Private Cloud environments
• Lead master data governance initiatives across domains such as:
  • Business Partner
  • Customer
  • Vendor / Supplier
  • Material Master
  • Finance Master Data
• Configure data models, workflows, BRF+, validations, derivations, and business rules
• Support data migration, harmonization, cleansing, and replication activities
• Collaborate with business teams to define governance processes and data standards
• Perform integration with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Data Services, and third-party systems
• Participate in fit-gap workshops, solution design, testing, and go-live support
• Troubleshoot master data issues and optimize system performance
• Create functional and technical documentation
• Support change management and user training activities

Required Skills & Experience

SAP Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
  • SAP MDM / Master Data Management
  • SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud
• Experience with SAP Business Partner framework
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and workflows
• Experience with:
  • BRF+
  • DRF
  • Data Replication Framework
  • MDG Consolidation / Mass Processing
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of ABAP debugging is advantageous
• Familiarity with SAP BTP integration concepts
• Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes
• Understanding of data quality and governance frameworks

Functional Knowledge

• Strong understanding of business processes in:
  • Procurement
  • Supply Chain
  • Finance
  • Sales & Distribution
• Experience in enterprise data governance programs

Language Requirements

• Fluent Danish (spoken and written) – mandatory
• Professional English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MDG certification preferred
• Experience in Nordic or European enterprise environments
• Previous experience in cloud transformation or S/4HANA migration programs
• Agile / Scrum project experience

• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and within distributed international teams
