SAP SD/BP Functional Consultant – Data Migration
10+ Month Contract | €400 per day | Nearshore Europe / Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP BP/SD Functional Consultant to support a major SAP S/4HANA data migration programme. This is a long-term contract opportunity focused on Business Partner (BP) and SAP SD data migration, working within a collaborative implementation and transformation team.
This role requires strong functional SAP SD expertise combined with proven hands-on data migration experience. Candidates must have experience working on multiple migration projects involving Business Partner, customer and vendor migration, and SAP SD transactional and master data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business workshops and blueprinting activities to define migration requirements
• Analyse legacy data and assess data quality
• Perform quality checks on load files and validate migration readiness
• Support and lead user testing and acceptance of migration loads
• Define and document data migration rules, field mapping and transformation logic
• Identify duplicate records and data quality issues to support successful migration delivery
• Perform high-level and detailed analysis of business processes and migration requirements
• Produce functional specifications and provide guidance to SAP BODS development teams
• Work closely with project and data migration teams on planning, scheduling, testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Support migration execution and ensure timely, high-quality delivery

Required Experience

• 8+ years of SAP BP/SD (Sales & Distribution) implementation and rollout experience
• 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout experience
• Minimum of 2 SAP data migration projects involving Business Partner (Customer & Vendor) migration
• Strong SAP SD data migration expertise including:
  • Business Partner / Customer Master
  • Route Determination
  • Pricing Conditions
  • Vistex
  • Rebates
  • Customer Credit Data
  • Customer Material Info Records
  • Open Sales Orders
  • LTMC and LSMW

Technical Skills

• SAP S/4HANA data migration expertise within SAP Sales & Distribution master and transactional data
• Experience with SAP BODS / SAP Data Services
• Experience creating functional migration documentation including field mappings, business rules and specifications

Important
This role is specifically focused on SAP Data Migration. Experience solely in Master Data Management (MDM) or general SAP S/4HANA implementation without hands-on migration experience will not be sufficient.
