Job Title: SAP Test Manager (Japanese Speaking)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SAP Test Manager to support a major system implementation programme in Japan. This role requires a fluent Japanese speaker who can operate effectively across both technical and business teams, ensuring the successful delivery of SAP testing strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in SAP system implementation projects, providing subject matter expertise on test approach and strategy
  • Define, organize, and manage the end-to-end test plan and all associated test activities
  • Lead testing phases including SIT, UAT, and regression testing
  • Provide clear and consistent status reporting, highlighting progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders (in both Japanese and English where required)
  • Identify, track, and manage defects, risks, and issues through to resolution
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, governance, and best practices
  • Support documentation, reporting, and overall test governance

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an SAP Test Manager or Test Lead on large-scale SAP implementations
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute test strategies
  • Solid project management experience within complex environments
  • Fluent Japanese language skills preferred with strong business communication ability
  • Good English communication skills (preferred for global stakeholder engagement)
  • Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar

Desirable:

  • SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
  • Experience working within Japanese business culture and stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Relevant SAP, Testing, or Project Management certifications

Location: Japan (Hybrid/On-site)
Start Date: Within 1 Month
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
