SAP Technical Integration Developer (ABAP / BTP) – Contract Opportunity

Next Ventures is seeking a Senior SAP Technical Integration Developer to support a private cloud S/4HANA environment on a minimum 6-month contract with a targeted start within 1–2 months and rapid onboarding (approximately one week after interview). The role focuses on designing and building API-based integrations and interfaces across SAP and partner systems within a transportation finance programme. The consultant will work primarily on the backend and integration layer, developing modern SAP extensions rather than traditional enhancement-only ABAP work.

The position requires strong ABAP development expertise with experience in modern SAP development frameworks, including RAP architecture, CDS views, API development (DATA/SOAP), and interface development in Eclipse-based environments. The consultant should also be capable of working with SAP BTP integration capabilities, including event-driven integrations (Pub/Sub models, Webhooks, SAP Advanced Event Mesh), Kafka connectors, and broader API management concepts to support system-to-system communication with external partner platforms.
