Azure Virtual Desktop Consultant

I’m looking for an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Consultant with strong Windows administration and DevOps experience to support the design, deployment and operation of secure, scalable AVD environments.

Key focus:

  • Design, deploy and operate Azure Virtual Desktop solutions
  • Manage 100+ virtual desktop systems
  • Administer Windows Server and Windows 10/11 multi-session environments
  • Support Active Directory / Azure AD, Group Policy, FSLogix and user profiles
  • Automate infrastructure using ARM, Bicep or Terraform
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Drive monitoring, security hardening and performance optimisation

Required skills:

  • Strong Windows administration background
  • Hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop experience
  • DevOps / automation experience
  • Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • IaC experience with ARM, Bicep or Terraform

Certifications required:

  • AZ-140: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
  • AZ-400: DevOps Engineer Expert

Preferred:

  • AZ-104 Azure Administrator
  • AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
