Data Engineer – Databricks

We are seeking skilled Data Engineers for a hybrid Brussels engagement within the financial technology sector. The role focuses on delivering big data platform implementations and requires hands-on experience with:

  • Data modeling
  • Batch/ETL processing
  • Big data technologies: Spark, PySpark, Databricks
  • Azure cloud technology stack

Key Details:

  • English fluency is sufficient (no French/Dutch required)
  • Hybrid Brussels location preferred, with possibility for full remote
  • Estimated start: June / July
  • Expected engagement: 6+ months initial (likely extensions)

Responsibilities:

  • Build and optimize data pipelines and data sets
  • Collaborate with data stream leads and tech teams to deliver on project requirements
  • Leverage Azure and big data toolsets to deliver scalable solutions
  • Deliver high-quality data models and ETL processes for analytics implementations
