Director SAP Public Cloud

We are seeking an experienced SAP Public Cloud Director to lead the development, growth, and delivery of our SAP Public Cloud practice. This role combines strategic leadership, business development, and delivery oversight, with responsibility for building a scalable, high-performing team and driving market success.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and scale a SAP Public Cloud practice, defining its vision, offerings, and go-to-market approach
  • Establish delivery frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Develop a high-performing team, including architects, consultants, and delivery leads
  • Create a scalable operating model to support growth across multiple industries
  • Provide executive-level oversight across engagements

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive revenue growth through active business development and client engagement
  • Partner with internal sales and account teams to shape and win new opportunities
  • Lead client conversations at C-level, positioning SAP Public Cloud solutions
  • Own pipeline development and conversion, contributing significantly to revenue targets
  • Support proposal development, solution design, and commercial structuring

Delivery Oversight

  • Ensure successful delivery of SAP Public Cloud implementations and transformations
  • Oversee programme governance, risk management, and quality assurance
  • Support solution architecture and provide guidance to delivery teams
  • Act as an escalation point for critical delivery issues
  • Ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationship growth

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Proven track record in SAP consulting, with a strong focus on SAP Public Cloud
  • Experience in a leadership role (Director / Practice Lead / Senior Manager)
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling teams or practices
  • Strong background in SAP data, integration, and cloud-based solutions
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales and revenue ownership
  • Ability to operate across business and technical domains
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Leadership capability to inspire, mentor, and grow teams
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability

Preferred

  • Experience working with or alongside **SAP account teams
  • Industry experience in one or more sectors (e.g., Public Sector, Financial Services, Energy, Consumer)
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and related offerings
  • Experience in consulting or system integration environments

Location

  • Flexible / Hybrid (typically aligned to major hubs such as London or Manchester)
  • Willingness to travel as required
