Next Ventures is seeking an Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Consultant for a short-term contract role with our client in the UK

Start date:          Immediate
Location:             UK/US
Duration:             6 weeks + ext
Travel:                  1 week US, 1 week UK
Rate:                     Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud PPM, including but not limited to Project Financial Management (PFM), Project Contracts, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Grants Management.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on system functionalities, best practices, and configuration related to Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training programs and materials for end-users and super-users on Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching specifically focused on PPM.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for a diverse audience.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving user issues related to Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful system adoption and optimization of PPM functionalities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud PPM features and updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven extensive experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • Demonstrable expertise in multiple Oracle Cloud PPM modules (PFM, Project Contracts, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Grants Management a must).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training to various audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar SME or training role is highly desirable.
