About the Role

We are seeking a Power BI Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of our enterprise business intelligence solutions. This role is responsible for defining and implementing the Power BI architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and usability across the organization.

As the Power BI expert, you will collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver insightful, visually compelling, and data-driven solutions that empower business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions that enable data-driven insights and self-service analytics.

• Define BI strategy and governance, including workspace organization, data model standards, and access/security frameworks.

• Develop and optimize semantic data models (Tabular Models, DAX, Power Query) for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses support reporting needs.

• Establish and enforce best practices for dashboard design, naming conventions, and metadata management.

• Lead adoption and enablement efforts, including user training, documentation, and community of practice development.

• Implement enterprise security and compliance standards through Row-Level Security (RLS), sensitivity labels, and governance policies.

• Integrate Power BI with other tools and platforms, such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, SQL Server, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure analytics innovations to continuously evolve the BI ecosystem.
