SAP Basis Lead – S/4HANA Transformation
Dubai, UAE (Onsite)
Contract Role – 2 Year Programme

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Lead to support a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme based onsite in Dubai. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the SAP Basis landscape, driving migration and upgrade activities, and ensuring platform stability throughout the programme lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP Basis activities across a multi-year S/4HANA transformation
  • Manage SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching
  • Support S/4HANA implementation and environment strategy
  • Oversee system performance tuning, monitoring, and high availability
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and functional teams
  • Manage transport landscape and technical change governance
  • Support cutover planning, DR strategy, and go-live readiness
  • Provide technical leadership to offshore/onshore Basis resources

Required Experience

  • 10+ years SAP Basis administration experience
  • Strong hands-on S/4HANA migration/transformation experience
  • Expertise across SAP NetWeaver, HANA DB, and SAP landscape management
  • Experience with SAP upgrades, Unicode conversions, and system refreshes
  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Previous experience leading Basis workstreams on enterprise SAP programmes
