SAP BRIM Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract within the Utilities sector. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end delivery of a major SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) implementation, ensuring effective programme governance, stakeholder alignment, and seamless execution across business and technology teams.

This role requires strong programme leadership, deep knowledge of SAP BRIM capabilities, and the ability to drive complex transformation initiatives within a fast-paced utilities environment.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Delivery & Governance

  • Lead the overall SAP BRIM programme, including planning, scope management, roadmap creation, and delivery oversight.
  • Establish and manage robust governance frameworks, including status reporting, RAID management, steering committee updates, and programme controls.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Billing, Finance, IT, Integration, Data, Testing, and third-party vendors to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall as appropriate).

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and programme outcomes across utilities operations and customer billing functions.
  • Manage relationships with implementation partners, system integrators, and external suppliers.

SAP BRIM Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee delivery across SAP BRIM components including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Subscription Order Management (SOM), and FI-CA.
  • Ensure integration alignment with SAP S/4HANA, CRM/CX, middleware, and downstream utility platforms.
  • Monitor programme risks, dependencies, and critical milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Change & Transformation

  • Support organisational change management activities including communications, training coordination, and business readiness.
  • Drive issue resolution and decision-making across complex workstreams.
  • Promote best practice programme management and continuous improvement throughout the lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP BRIM programmes as a Project Manager or Programme Manager.
  • Strong background within the Utilities industry, ideally covering energy, water, or multi-utility environments.
  • Experience managing complex system integration and transformation programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience at senior leadership level.
  • Excellent understanding of Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, risks, and multi-vendor environments.
