AP EPPM Consultant

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP EPPM Consultant to take ownership of the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of the SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) solution.

The consultant will act as the responsible lead for the SAP EPPM area, ensuring that business processes and system functionality are aligned to deliver a robust, scalable, and integrated solution.
This is a hands-on role that requires deep experience in SAP S/4HANA, strong process understanding, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead consultant for SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) within the S/4HANA landscape.

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy EPPM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between business processes and SAP best practices.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Create comprehensive SAP Blueprint documents detailing the solution design.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, and Development) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage data migration activities, including defining migration rules, preparing data templates, and supporting testing and validation.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with the technical development team to ensure quality and timely delivery of custom solutions.
  • Provide post-go-live support and ensure system stability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a SAP EPPM consultant (Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA including EPPM, MM, and integration points.
  • Hands-on experience with the SAP Migration Cockpit.
  • Minimum 10+ years of SAP implementation experience, with multiple full lifecycle projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead solution design, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Extensive experience in business requirement gathering, blueprint creation, and functional specification writing.
  • Experience in coordinating design and implementation with business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Strong background in data migration, including defining rules and collaborating closely with process teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Certification in Project Systems (PS) or EPPM (preferred).
  • Prior experience in S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or utilities industries (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for project and portfolio management.
