SAP Finance Project manager – Contract role

Next Ventures is currently looking for a SAP Finance Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple SAP projects aimed at enhancing their SAP solution. The main project will be the rollout of (Financial & HR) template solution to Germany and Spain. This will also include coordinating other smaller applications which are integrated with our SAP S4 system, as well as other smaller non-SAP-related projects, e.g. Quality and/or Workplace applications initiatives.
Scope:

  1. Define and maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive project plan for SAP and other applications that identifies deliverables, work breakdown structure, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
  2. Coordinate, motivate, and support the project team to achieve objectives effectively.
  3. Manage and coordinate ICT vendors (software, hardware, and consultancy) to ensure alignment with project goals. Ensure projects are executed in line with agreed standards and methodology, including quality gating and thorough testing before release to production.
  4. Regularly report on project progress, budget, risks, and issues to the ICT Business Partner, Team Leader, and ICT PMO Manager.

Required skills :

  1. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, SAFe), applied pragmatically, and an extensive track record in project and change management, including project delivery in complex environments.
  1. Experience with SAP finance and implementation of new legal entities. - Fluent in English (Dutch knowledge is a plus but not essential)
  2. Team player with a no-nonsense attitude and the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.). Experience with Azure DevOps is a significant advantage.
