Job Title: SAP Logistics Consultant (MM/SD/Retail)
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia (On-site)
Contract Duration: 6 Months+
Rate: USD All-Inclusive
Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Logistics Consultant with strong expertise across MM, SD, and Retail modules to support a large-scale retail transformation project in Jakarta. This is a hands-on, on-site contract role focused on testing, data validation, and end-to-end process assurance within a high-volume retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data validation activities across key retail objects including article master, pricing, and site listings
- Perform inventory reconciliation (quantity and valuation) and validate open transactions (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Deliveries)
- Actively participate in SIT1, SIT2, and UAT cycles, ensuring quality across:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Inventory and store operations
- Validate end-to-end retail business flows (Article → Pricing → POS → Finance integration)
- Support and validate POS integration, including sales upload accuracy and pricing synchronization
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve defects and ensure system readiness
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications (RICEF objects)
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated SAP systems
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- SAP MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation)
- SAP SD (Sales, Billing, Pricing)
- SAP Retail (Article Master, Assortments, Promotions)
- Proven track record in data validation and reconciliation within SAP environments
- Solid experience in integration and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT)
- Strong understanding of retail processes and high-volume transaction environments
- Experience with POS system integration, including validation of sales and pricing data
- Ability to work on-site in Jakarta for the duration of the contract
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in large-scale SAP retail implementations or transformations
- Exposure to end-to-end SAP integration with Finance (FI)
- Experience working in multi-country or global project teams
- Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery models
