Senior Front End Engineer

Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer (React + TypeScript)
Location: New York City (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Employment Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who’s passionate about modern web development and thrives in a high-impact, highly collaborative startup-style environment.

The Role:
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in building and refining our web interfaces using React and TypeScript. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to create responsive, high-performance user experiences. Bonus if you have experience with Next.js and are comfortable collaborating across the stack.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect, build, and maintain complex frontend systems using React + TypeScript

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new features

  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility

  • Contribute to and help maintain our frontend best practices, tooling, and code quality

  • Work onsite with the team 5 days a week in our NYC office to promote rapid iteration and real-time collaboration

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including at least 2–3 years with React and TypeScript

  • Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component architecture, and state management

  • Experience building production-grade SPAs or full-stack apps using frameworks like Next.js

  • A product mindset with strong attention to detail and UX considerations

  • Experience collaborating closely with design teams and translating Figma or similar specs into pixel-perfect UIs

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and taking ownership of projects

Nice to Have:

  • Backend experience or familiarity with API development in Next.js

  • Experience with performance profiling and frontend monitoring tools

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
