Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python or C#) – Hybrid (Bogotá, Colombia)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Python or C# to join our innovative team at a leading Fintech company headquartered in NYC. This role offers a hybrid work model based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Python or C# (Django, Flask, ASP.NET, or similar frameworks).
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work with Vue.js (preferred) or React to develop dynamic frontend components.
  • Integrate backend services with frontend interfaces, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, stand-ups, and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
  • Ensure application security and compliance standards.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python or C# with experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or ASP.NET.
  • Frontend development skills with Vue.js (preferred) or React.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Fintech or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture or microservices.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Motivated and proactive with a growth mindset.
