Business Central Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced D365 BC14 consultant to support a Swiss-based industrial manufacturer with a global presence across Europe, the Americas, and APAC. This role provides day-to-day support for multiple international sales entities as the business transitions from D365 Business Central (BC14) to D365FO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for 12 international sales entities (EU, LATAM, APAC) on D365 BC14
  • Act as main contact for finance and sales users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, transactional, and process issues
  • Support core finance processes including GL, AP/AR, intercompany, and sales flows
  • Manage user queries, system configuration, and minor enhancements
  • Ensure system stability and business continuity
  • Collaborate with local finance teams and stakeholders across time zones
  • Prepare entities for migration to D365FO
  • Assist with documentation, process improvements, and knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with D365 Business Central (BC14)
  • Any experience with D365FO is beneficial
  • Experience supporting finance and sales modules
  • Background in multi-entity, international environments
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes
  • Able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Available to work CET hours
  • German and/or French skills a plus
