D365 F&O Developer – Fully Remote – B2B Contract 

Overview

We are supporting a large-scale, international organisation undergoing a multi‑year digital transformation programme using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
This is a fully remote, long‑term 3‑year B2B contract, working with globally distributed teams in an English‑speaking environment.

The project involves modernising a complex, multi‑entity ecosystem, implementing D365 F&O across multiple business units, and integrating with a wide range of Azure, Power Platform, and data/analytics services.

Contract Type

  • B2B Contract
  • Initial Duration: 3 Years (strong possibility of extension)
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Language: English (project-wide language)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, extend, and customise Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++, Azure DevOps pipelines, and related tools.
  • Work closely with solution architects, functional consultants, and technical leads to deliver high‑quality features within agreed timelines.
  • Build and maintain integrations across D365, Azure services, Power Platform, and external systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance optimisation, and best‑practice implementation.
  • Support data migration activities, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Work within a structured PMO environment following robust delivery practices, documentation standards, and quality controls.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple environments and provide long‑term sustainable solutions.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of D365 F&O (or AX 2012) development experience using X++.
  • Strong understanding of key D365 F&O modules—Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, or related areas.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Integrations (APIs, Data Entities, OData, batch jobs)
    • Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, branching strategies)
    • Data migration frameworks
    • Power Platform (advantage)
  • Ability to collaborate within international, cross-functional teams in a fully remote setting.
  • Solid communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in large-scale, multi‑site, multi‑country D365 rollouts.
  • Exposure to analytics tools (Power BI / Fabric).
  • Familiarity with enterprise‑level ALM/SDLC standards.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
