Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager – Dublin, Ireland - 12 months 

We are looking for a Senior Project/Programme Manager to join a client in the aviation industry based in Dublin to support an increase in project workload.

Start date: Feb/March
Duration: 12 month extendable
3 days onsite in Dublin, 2 days remote

You must have experience implementing and delivering Network and Data Center upgrades of hardware, leading an integrated project team.
Key Responsibilities Include

  • Project Planning & Delivery – Create and manage end‑to‑end project plans, coordinating dependencies across all workstreams from initiation to post‑implementation.
  • Risk & Issue Management – Identify, track and resolve risks and issues, applying creative problem‑solving to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Budget & Resourcing – Secure and manage the required budget and resources to meet quality and timeline commitments.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Serve as the primary contact for key stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication before, during and after the upgrade.
  • Governance & Reporting – Establish appropriate governance structures and provide regular, transparent updates to maintain alignment.
  • Escalation Management – Detect and escalate problems promptly and accurately.
  • Change Management – Lead change activities to support a smooth transition into BAU.

Your Experience

  • 7+ years in technology delivery, including 5+ years in project management.
  • Experience with complex network infrastructure and 24/7 operational environments is highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving environment with competing priorities.
  • Background in delivering technology solutions to diverse operational and support teams.
  • Proficient in full project lifecycle management and tools such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Experience working within hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models.
  • Professional certification such as PMI (PMP) or IPMA Level C+ preferred.
