Techno-Functional Business Central Finance Consultant

A global medical technology organisation operating across 40+ countries is searching for an experienced Techno-functional Business Central Consultant within the Finance area to assist in their continual implementation of Business Central SaaS from Navision and Business Central on-prem.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and improve processes
  • Design techno-functional solutions within Business Central
  • Collaborate with external development partners responsible for development
  • Review and understand AL code and technical designs delivered by vendors
  • Ensure solutions align with architecture, best practices, and business requirements
  • Identify opportunities to optimise processes and leverage new Business Central features
  • Support the company’s ongoing Business Central SaaS transformation

Experience needed:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Techno-functional background (functional consultant with strong technical understanding)
  • Ability to read and review AL code and understand technical design
  • Experience working with Business Central SaaS environments
  • Experience supporting or delivering international / multi-entity Business Central implementations
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes, particularly within Finance
