Vulnerability Management Specialist 

Summary Description:

We are urgently seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist to join a security team delivering services to a financial sector client. The role is focused on vulnerability detection, reporting, and remediation using enterprise tools in a regulated environment. The position is on-site in Amsterdam and requires immediate availability.

Fluent English required
EU Passport or EU Work Authorization is mandatory

Requirements Description:

  • Must have experience in vulnerability management

  • Strong understanding of security processes in regulated environments

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

  • Must be eligible to work in the EU (EU passport preferred)

Tasks Description:

  • Monitor and manage vulnerabilities across cloud and on-prem infrastructure

  • Use tools such as Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, and AWS Inspector

  • Track and manage remediation tickets via ServiceNow

  • Provide regular updates and risk reports to stakeholders

  • Support and improve vulnerability management processes

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards

Essential Skills / Experience Description:

  • Hands-on experience with Rapid7, Defender, or AWS Inspector

  • ServiceNow ticketing experience

  • Solid understanding of CVSS scoring and vulnerability remediation workflows

  • Experience in enterprise environments, preferably in banking or finance

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

Desirable Skills / Additional Information Description:

  • Security certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, OSCP)

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS)

  • Experience with AI/automation in security processes

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
